Grandad's birthday Card

I am at home with lots of spots and Mummy said I could make Grandad a card for his birthday ...

I coloured the bear in using pencil crayons, then inked it, and then inked the paper and inked the other paper. Then I put some string on and some circles on.

Simon Says Stamp are running a special challenge for children with the theme Anything Goes.

I have made 2 cards using Mummy's Tilda images for it.

I coloured this Tilda in using my felt tips and then cut her out using some fancy scissors. All the bits and bobs are from my craft bag. I added some glitter glue to her wand and shoes.

This Tilda is coloured in using my felt tips. I stuck the iamge on the card and then added a border of flowers.

I hope you like them.

Happy Birthday naini

Its naini's birthday today, and Mummy let us make cards with her craft stash.

This is mine (Ellie's)`

I picked this image and coloured it using mummy's special pens. I cut some bits of paper and mummy helped me cut the ribbon. I tied the knot and added lots of gems to the ribbon and her dress.

This is Beth's ...

Beth picked this cake iamge and coloured it using Mummy's pens ... I had to help her with the lids. Mummy helped beth cut the paper and put the tape on, and I tied the knot for her. Beth added lots of gems to the ribbon and papers.

Naini loves them.

My card for Clare

Calre lives round the corner and is Sam's mummy, and is sad at the moment, so I made her a card using one of Mummy's images.
I ocloured it using Ellie's pens (shhhh!)

ANd then used papers from our craft bag and some ribbon.
Here is the finished card. Hope you like it.

This is my picture of Australia (why???). The desert is the orange bit and I have put some sea on and some green bits .. and a kangaroo (not seeing that one myself!!)

My teachers' end of year gifts and cards

I have made my cards and presents from my teacher and classroom assistants with a little help from my Mummy and Daddy.

Here is the card for Mrs Morris, my teacher. I coloured her in felt pens (not Mummy's choice of colouring media!!) and then cut her out. I stuck some ribbon on pink flower paper andglued my image on. I used some lovely flowers and added sequins to the centres of them.
Here is the box ...
All the teachers got a box, sprayed in Ellie's choice of colour by Daddy ... and then she was let loose with flowers and gems!! She chose images and they were stamped on shrinky plastic, before she coloured them in, and them we put them in the oven. Mummy got the fab (!?) job of making the chains to attach the charms to the keyrings!

I like this pink and found matching flowers. I added tiny gems and a butterfly. I coloured my images in and then Mummy put them in the oven. I chose a flower charm to go on the keyring too.
And here is the smiley face I did on the ide of the box. I used heart gems for the smile.

I coloured the image in and cut it out myself. I used more flowers and ribbon.

Here is Mrs Moss' card. I think I coloured the skirt really well. I added a sequin to her hat and bag. Mummy let me have 2 of her special flowers, but not her roses!

Mummy's birthday card

It's mummy's birthday today and this is the card I have made for her. She was very good and let me, Beth and Daddy loose in her craft room. I coloured this image using distress inks, and added a smile. I added lots of flowers with buttons and some ribbon. The charm is fastened with a flower that you poke through the back (brad to us crafters!!), and some buttons at the top.

I am entering this into Magnolia Down Under's flower challenge and Just Magnolia's hot and spicy theme as it is summery and the colours are hot.

We have had a fab time at the zoo today and my favourite bit was going on the little train.

My card for Mummy

This is the card I have made for my Mummy for her birthday, with a little help from Daddy. I coloured in the picture and the added the ribbon, I tried to tie a bow. Mummy said we could use any of her flowers in the purple box, so I chose all of these and put them together like she does. I used buttons for the centres. I chose an charm and daddy put the loopy things on.

I am going to enter this into Magnolia Down Under's flower challenge and Just Magnolia's hot and spicy theme as it is summery.

Mummy loves it :)

I had some candy for my Flower scene post ... I should have drawn it ages ago but school got in the way!!!

Anyway the puipe cleaner animal was in fact a goat ...

So Edward wins some goodies

... but it is a little unfair as Edward is 4 and one of my friends and so guessed becuae he knows me ...

So Mummy has said I can pick another person to send some goodies too.

I have picked 2 ...

Heather - it could have been a robin with its red nose!!! (and you were lovely to me when I had my tonsils out!)

It's Naini and Bunny's birthday

It is Naini's birthday on Friday and I have made her a birthday card using one of Mmmy's new stamps.

I added lots of sequins, glitter and flowers, oh and pinched a few gems!

It will also be Bunny's birthday (again!! says Mummy!)

I coloure inthis gorgeous Wags n Whiskers Snuzzle lOve image in and added flowers.

Just need to make Naini a cake!

My Gran (that's really my Great Gran) sent me a pink 2 wheeled scooter for Easter. I love it lots and have made Gran a thank you card ... Mummy let me use her things .. I want them all!

I made all this myself, except for cutting the background paper so it fitted the card. I used Mummy's inks to colour in and found some punches and some ribbon in her bag, and some gems .. I love the pink ones!

A flower scene

we went to church yesterday with Naini and Grandad, and during the bit where the Vicar talks alot, we got to make some flower to decorate the easter Cross. I used some of mine to make a garden for Mummy and here it is. All the flowers are layered and stuck onto pink card. The Vicar's wife helped me cut the leaves out. I stuck some pom poms on too.

I used a pipe cleaner to make this to live in my garden. Do you know what it is?

Mummy says if anyone can guess what it is correctly she will let me put together some ribbon, flowers and images as a prize ... so what is?

Editted Mummy says I can have some ribbon, flowers from Wild orchid Crafts, buttons and stamped images.

I am making my Gran a thank you card as she got me a pink scooter for easter. I will be back later with it, and maybe Beth's if she gets on with it!

Hot Cross buns

We are on holiday at Naini's and yesterday after we had fed the sheep we made hot cross buns.

Naini helped me make the dough for the hot cross buns. We put raisins in it. I like big raisins and ate a few while Naini wasn't looking.
Look how big the dough got! (Mummy made jokes about the Blob?!)
I kneaded the dough.
Beth kneaded the dough.
I am rolling a bun.
Beth rolled a bun.
We put pastry crosses on them.
Here are the cooked buns.
Here is Beth ready to feed the sheep. We have 3 sheep and 3 lambs. One mummy is waiting to have her lamb.
Here a two of the lambs (number 4). Aren't they cute?

Ellie's Easter card

Here's my Easter card for Naini and Grandad.
This is the front and it opens out from the middle ...

Oh and I decorated the back!

This is how I did it.

1. score your caed (yes Mummy let me use her board!!)
2. Press the fold down.
3. Cover an egg shaped peice of card in glue
4. and cover it with shiny paper. (Mummy cut it out for me)
5. Cut into a peice of green paper lots of times to make grass .. but don't vut all the way through!

6. Make your chick using 2 yellow circles, an orange triangle and a pen for the eyes and legs.

7. Decorate (I love sequins!!)
8. Leave it to dry for a bit.
Glkue the back of the egg (we did ity before) and stick across the flaps.
Like this. Either cut a zig zag or give to mummy to that bit .. it is a bit hard!
9. Decorate the egg and anywhere that needs bits.

Ellie's Decorated Egg

I had to decorate an egg for a competition at school. My took 3 attempts to get an egg with out cracks in it for me.

I used foam stickies, sticky ribbon and feathers to decorate it. I didn't win the big Easter egg, just a little one.
